Erin Wood and Cynthia Jansen sang the women’s solos in the 4th movement of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony.

Dr. Nica, widow of composer/violinist chat at the reception that followed the concert, which was dedicated to the memory of her husband Gregore Nica and violinist Grace Obray.

 

 

Board member Jenn Floto presented a plaque and check to James Chung, winner of the BCSA String Scholarship for a middle school student while Chairman Ruth MacFarlane applauds his achievement.

 

Zachary Seligman-Karen was the winner of the BCSA scholarship for a middle school student musician playing an orchestral instrument other than strings.

 

Maestro Brisk shares a relaxing moment with the soloists after the concert.
