On June 16, 2023, Beach Cities Symphony Orchestra will proudly, once again, hold its “Artists of the Future” concert in partnership with the Music Teacher’s Association of California (MTAC) – for the first time since 2019! Join us at El Camino College’s Marsee Auditorium, where we will feature three young fabulous soloists: Kevin Hu will perform Mendelssohn’s violin concerto; Jacqueline Chang will perform Grieg’s piano concerto; and Nathaniel Wong will perform Prokofiev’s 3rd piano concerto.

As Beach Cities Symphony Orchestra closes out its 73rd Season, we look to the future and these young local student soloists who are ensuring classical music stays relevant to the next generation. BCSO is so excited to resume our Artist of the Future series, but we are also launching a “New Voices” competition. We are hoping to feature a piece by a little-known composer that will mesh with Debussy’s “Nuages” & “Fetes”. WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE!
