BCSO’s 74th Season “Artists of the Future” Concert on
June 14, 2024 Features Local Young Soloists
On June 14, 2024, Beach Cities Symphony Orchestra will once again hold its annual “Artists of the Future” concert in partnership with the Music Teacher’s Association of California (MTAC) – featuring young local soloists, ranging from a fifth-grader to an eighth-grader! Join us at El Camino College’s Marsee Auditorium, where we will feature four young fabulous soloists: Li (Luke) Li – performing a movement from Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 5 in A Major; Noah Liao (an alternate to last year’s AotF competition) – performing Polonaise Brillante Op. 4 in D major; Jacob Sun – performing a movement from Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor; and Abigail Tenn – performing a movement from Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in C major.
As Beach Cities Symphony Orchestra finishes out its 74th Season, we are excited that classical music is still important to young musicians and that these local student soloists are helping to ensure classical music remains relevant to the next generation. BCSO is excited to feature our upcoming Artists of the Future, but we are equally excited to also showcase a newer contemporary piece by Jennifer Bellor, along with a classic piece by Manuel de Fallas in a few weeks!
